At Stayner Dentures we provide professional denture repairs and relines to restore comfort, fit, and function when dentures become loose, worn, or damaged. Over time, normal changes in gums and bone can affect how dentures feel — and adjustments or relining may be needed to improve stability and comfort.

Our goal is to help your dentures continue to feel secure and supportive, so you can speak, eat, and smile with confidence.

If you are exploring full replacement options instead of repair, you may also be interested in Full Dentures or Partial Dentures.

A denture reline is a treatment that adds new material to the inside of the denture to improve the way it fits against the gums. Relines are commonly recommended when:

  • Dentures feel loose or unstable
  • Sore spots or irritation develop
  • Bone or gums change over time
  • Chewing or speaking becomes uncomfortable

Relining helps improve comfort and extend the lifespan of your denture.

Some patients with ongoing looseness may later transition to Implant-Secured Dentures for added stability.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Denture Repairs & Relines

Most dentures require a reline every few years, depending on bone and gum changes. Routine exams help determine when adjustments are needed.

Many dentures can be repaired, but severe or repeated damage may require replacement. If replacement is recommended, we may suggest Full Dentures or Partial Dentures.

Jaw and gum shape naturally change. Relines help adapt the denture to these changes for improved comfort and stability.

Not always — relines extend lifespan, but some dentures eventually require replacement. Digital upgrades are available through our Digital Dentures service.
